1967 Gibson Heritage Guitar

(Serial No. 905781) Near mint condition with a few small marks that show it was actually used to make music. This is a one owner guitar. The Gibson Heritage is definitely one of the sleepers of the Gibson line. Solid Brazilian rosewood back and sides, tortoise binding and a Sitka spruce top. Fretboard is ebony with the 1 9/16 inch nut that Gibson was using at that time. Neck is straight, neck set is good and the frets look almost unplayed. Has the original nickle Grover Rotomatic tuners. Nice original tortoise pickguard and multi ring soundhole rosette. Has the original upper belly ebony bridge. The adjustable saddle has been upgraded to a ceramic insert, which I believe gives a much better tone than the original ebony saddle. The guitar has a fabulous, true vintage vibe to it & produces a really warm, rich tone with good volume, making it a lot of fun to play. Here is a short video clip of this instrument played. Comes with the original hard shell case.
