1969 Martin D-18 Guitar

(Serial No. 252108) Excellent minus condition. This is the classic Martin D-18 - solid mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top. Original finish shows some playing wear as this guitar did duty in countless bluegrass jams here in Virginia. Neck is straight, neck set was just reset by luthier Jack Dillen in Asheville, NC, and the frets are fine. Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge. Bridge may be replaced and shows evidence that it was reglued. Original black pickguard and binding. Grover patent pending tuners are original to the guitar. This guitar has that big solid Martin "boom" you need in a good bluegrass guitar. Plays very easy with a nice low action. This is a excellent sounding well played and nicely aged D-18. Comes with a newer hardshell case.
