1970 Martin 00-21 Guitar
(Serial No. 266847) Excellent plus condition. Nicely aged Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. I think 00/000 size guitars are the best balanced as to sound, and they certainly are comfortable to play on the couch. These are about the size of a classical guitar. This one looks nearly unplayed and has a nice sweet punch to the sound. Rosewood peghead overlay with gold Martin script. Has a Martin C shaped neck profile with an 1-7/8 inch nut width. The neck was just reset by luthier Jack Dillen in Asheville, so the action is low and comfortable with plenty of saddle left. No repairs noted. The frets are in good shape and the neck is straight. Shows almost no finish checking and no scratches. Has a nice big open woody sound with strong volume.
