1979 Stelling Mandolin
(Serial No. 017) Excellent condition with no top sinkage or fretboard hump. Sunburst lacquer finish, modified A shape with double bump shoulders, large f-holes, bound carved spruce top, figured maple back and sides, gold hardware, bound fretboard and headstock, slotted diamond inlays, 1-3/16 inch nut width, 14 inch scale. These early Stelling mandolins were made by Kim Breedlove in California for Stelling. Here is a short video clip of luthier Richie Dotson picking this mandolin. Comes with the original rectangular hardshell case.
