1994 Santa Cruz OM Guitar

(Serial No. 451) Very clean near mint guitar. Indian rosewood back and sides, cutaway Sitka spruce top, small tortoise guard, scalloped bracing, herringbone rosette and top trim, zipper backstripe, fully bound top, back, fretboard and peghead with grained ivoroid, ebony bridge and fretboard with small dot inlay. Peghead overlay is ebony with a pearl logo. Tuners are original Kluson style closed back with metal buttons. Nice low action, Neck set is good, fret are fine. 1 3/4 inch nut, V neck profile. Very strong sounding guitar as it has been opening up for over 20 years. The OM model is delightfully versatile. OM players range from blazing flat picker James Nash to John Mayer and Elvis Costello. The Santa Cruz Guitar Company OM provides clean, loud mid-range and trebles that are complimented by a slightly predominant bass. Very good for fingerstyle and contemporary flat picking work. Strap button added at the heel. Comes with the original very nice hard shell case.
