1996 Old Wave A5 Mandolin
(Serial No. 102) Excellent condition. Bill Bussman has been building mandolins for decades, and it shows. This is an excellent mandolin. Has curley maple back and sides, an Englemannn top, and an ebony fretboard with a 1 1/8 inch nut. Has The very cool logo inlaid in pearl in the peghead. I sent Bill an email asking about the wood used for the top and he sent this: "Colorado old growth Engelmann for sure, never saw that medullary flecking like around the treble side f hole with the sitka or red spruce in the early days. This top wood would have come off Grand Mesa in western Colorado." Frets are good, neck set is good, sound is exceptional. Everything else on this mandolin is original. Comes with a hard shell case.
