1999 Taylor 910 Guitar
(Serial No. 9901255135) Mint unplayed condition. I bought this guitar recently from a private collection, as the 910 model is now special order. Excellent condition all original example of one of Taylors best known and loved guitars. This guitar has a dreadnaught size body with the sound hole rosette and top bordered in abalone and the top, back and neck bound in Indian rosewood. The woods used are top grade with an Sitka spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fretboard and bridge. This older 910 has the rich tone typical of the top tier Taylor productions from that era. Many pickers consider the Taylor guitars from the 1990s to be among the best the company has made. The rosewood used is very rich in color and shows a lot of beautiful red hues. The abalone top trim extends all the way down the fingerboard and around the neck and the "Cindy" inlay (named for Bob Taylors wife) on the fretboard is stunning. Nut is 1 11/16 inch. This is a pure acoustic, so no pickup and no holes drilled in this instrument. The tone and volume are fabulous. This guitar is loud, resonant and balanced throughout the entire tonal range. The neck is straight with comfortable action and accurate intonation and the frets are fine.
