1918 Martin Style A Mandolin
(Serial Number: 6187) Excellent condition showing only the slightest signs that it has indeed been played. Original lacquer finish with a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, 13 inch scale, tortoise pickguard. Good neck and frets, plays nice with a low action but still has plenty of volume. Great for old-time, Celtic, or jazz. Original tuners and Style A unengraved tailpiece cover. No strap button installed. Looks like some blush in the finish; probably due to prolonged storage in a damp environment. This does not affect the sound or playability. Comes with a hard case.
